Raksha Bandhan is all about a relationship that a brother and sister have, the most special, the most treasured and the most pure form of relationship. The actual meaning of Raksha Bandhan which is obviously known to all of us is 'a relation, a bond between a brother and sister, wherein he promises to protect her from all the evil, eternally'.

Raksha Bandhan is one occasion which is celebrated every year with so much of enthusiasm and affection. And all the years that each one of us ties a rakhi to our brothers, appends to the everlasting memories that we will cherish. These memories in life are so much like cherries on a cake, where each one you eat, tastes amazingly delicious.

What is your definition of Raksha Bandhan?
My definition of Raksha Bandhan is that song 'Phoolon ka taaron ka…sabka kehna hai…'.
But on a serious note Raksha Bandhan is almost every day, it's when you fight with your brother or play or talk or argue or love.

What would you prefer getting as a gift?
I want a Louis Vuitton bag this time.

Will you be able to find out if the gift is bought at the last minute?
Of course not, I would never be able to find out if it was a gift bought last minute, because my brother lives in London (smiles)..

One actor from the industry you wouldn't want to consider as your brother?

What is your definition of Raksha Bandhan?
Earlier women were dependent so the definition of Raksha bandhan then was to protect your sister. But now women are very independent and the definition has in fact changed. Today spending time together, being able to be there for each other has become very important. And thus, Raksha Bandhan should be celebrated so that the relationship between a brother and sister lasts forever, and their bond becomes stronger. The need to celebrate Raksha Bandhan today has changed.

What would you prefer getting as a gift?
The best gift for me would me to be able to tie him a Rakhi, since I am busy shooting and he is in Bhopal.

Will you be able to find out if the gift is bought at the last minute?
I will never mind if a person forgets to gift me something or even gift something at the last minute, because it is the feelings that matter and count. No matter how small or big the gift is, at least the fact that he put in that much effort and cared to get me that is important.

One actor from the industry you wouldn't want to make him your brother?
For me only the person whom I'll marry will be important, I wouldn't really mind making the rest my brothers.

What is your definition of Raksha Bandhan?
There is no definition of Raksha Bandhan as such, it is a Hindu tradition and culture.

What would you prefer getting as a gift?
Anything that my brother wants to gift me is fine with me.

Will you be able to find out if the gift is bought at the last minute?
It doesn't make any difference if he has forgotten to get me something or even got it at the last minute. Because basically Raksha bandhan is a Ritual where the sister ties rakhi to her brother and he gives something in a 'plate of aarti' which is more like a token of love and appreciation.

Raksha Bandhan is all about protecting your sister.

What gift are you planning to give?
I do not like to surprise people by giving them gifts of my choice, so I'll gift her, whatever she wants. This time it may be a diamond ring though.

In case you forget to buy her, what will your last minute resort be?
Oh! My last minute resort would be my credit cards. I'll give all of them to her and tell her "Babe's all of this is for you".

Bhai par jo ek bandhan hai behen ki raksha karna, that's the actual definition of Raksha Bandhan and I completely believe in it.

I prefer gifting something that's useful and so this time my sister is in need of a nice phone, which I will be gifting her.

I never forget to gift her.

Oh! There are many whom I wouldn't want to make my sisters. And anyways I do not believe in 'mu-boli behen' concept.

Raksha Bandhan is a day for a brother and sister to come together so that the sister can tie a Rakhi to her brother.

What gift are you planning to give?
Since my sister is away, I have asked her what she wants and I will courier it to her accordingly. I prefer to gift her, whatever she wants.

In case you forget to buy her, what will your last   minute resort be?
I will never forget to gift her. And since she is younger to me, she demands clothes and I gift it to her.

I would never want any actresses to be my sisters.
