Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan lies to Ruhi, telling her he no longer misses Abhira

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) approaches to comfort Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani), catching her in tears. He reassures her that they will convince Manish to agree to their marriage. Ruhi, still upset, asks why Armaan agreed to the marriage now after previously asking for more time. Armaan admits that he was scared and acknowledges that he had hurt her deeply in the past, which influenced his decision to agree to the marriage. Ruhi, however, feels this indicates he doesn't truly love her. Armaan insists that while he hasn't been able to offer her much besides loyalty, he envisions a future with her. He emphasises that they bring peace to each other and their families and can be a source of mutual support and strength.

Abhira gets fired:

Armaan confesses that he doesn't miss Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and desires peace in his life. Meanwhile, Abhira meets her new boss, Mr Mishra, who praises her and suggests she deserves a salary hike. However, the boss abruptly fires her after receiving a phone call, denying her any extension and insisting she collect her pay and leave immediately, even threatening to call security if she doesn't comply. 

Distressed, Abhira leaves the office in tears. Krish video calls her, noticing her distress, but Abhira lies, claiming she received a salary hike and has found a new house. Madhav, witnessing the situation, believes that Abhira is Armaan's ideal partner, and Armaan overhears this. Later, Ruhi celebrates Manish and Swarna's anniversary, pleading with Manish not to take away her rights to host their anniversary party. Manish takes a bite and shares the cake with her. Swarna suspects unresolved feelings between Ruhi and Armaan and asks Ruhi if she is sure about Armaan's love for her over Abhira. Ruhi, confident in her love and trust in Armaan, expresses her belief that fate will not separate them.

Armaan misses Abhira:

In her room, Abhira finds her belongings scattered. The broker arrives with papers to cancel her marriage and demands more rent for her to stay. Frustrated, Abhira pays him off and insists he never asks for rent again. As the broker leaves, Abhira faints from exhaustion. The broker returns, only to find unconscious Abhira. He approaches her with malicious intent but retreats after she receives a message that causes him to step back. Eventually, waking her up. Abhira accuses him of intruding and sends him away. She notices missed calls and a message from Manisha, listens to the audio, and resolves not to reveal her location.

Meanwhile, Armaan, also troubled, convinces himself that Abhira is fine and his worry is misplaced. Both Armaan and Abhira are left feeling sad. The broker makes another excuse to see Abhira. Abhira confronts him, but he makes another excuse, prompting her to suspect and leave the place. Ruhi then gives Dadi an invitation to the anniversary party and apologises, but Dadi remains unyielding. Armaan reassures Ruhi, promising to resolve everything after the party. Comforted, Ruhi hugs him. Later, unable to sleep, Armaan decides to step outside.
