Rajshri's 'Hanson ka Joda' for Imagine..

NDTV Imagine and Rajshri Productions join hands to give viewers the flavor of romance with their new show, 'Hanson Ka Joda'. The show was earlier titled 'Jodiyaan'.

The show will basically dwell on the changes in relationships owing to destiny. It will also talk about the fact that 'Extremes do attract'.  It will be a typical Rajshri show which will revolve around few couples who have been united by destiny. Big names of television will be seen making a comeback thro' the show.

According to our source, "Shaleen Bhanot who has not been seen on television after he won Nach Baliye 4 will be seen in a different avtar in the show. He will be playing a 'champu' kind of character, which he has never played before. On the other hand, Ali Merchant who was last seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will be totally opposite to Shaleen, and will be seen as the stud with great looks".

"Shubhangi Atre who was last seen in Kasturi will be staging a comeback with the show, and will be paired opposite Shaleen. Nupur Joshi who was seen in Zee TV's Rakhi will be paired with Ali Merchant", informs our source.

"Vineet Raina who was last seen in Zee TV's Maa is also staging a comeback with the show. He plays a person who is devoted to his family, which consists of his mother and two sisters (played by Shubhangi Atre and Nupur Joshi). Actress Sonica Handa who was cast opposite Vineet Raina in the movie Janani will play his wife in the show", adds our source.

We called up Nupur Joshi who seemed clueless, "I really do not have any clue about the show you are talking".

Shubhangi Atre too expressed the same saying, "I am still on the look out for good roles. I will give you a buzz when I get one".

We tried calling Vineet Raina, Shaleen Bhanot and Ali Merchant, but they remained unavailable.

We sent a text message to Kavita Barjayta of Rajshri Productions, but she did not revert.

As per our source, "The shoot for the show has begun in Mathura. However, the launch date and time slot has not been finalized".

We are all waiting to see this 'Hanson ka Joda' in action!!
