Rajkummar Rao & Janhvi Kapoor seek blessings at Varanasi’s Dashashwamedh Ghat Ahead of 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' release

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are currently immersed in the promotions for their highly anticipated film, *Mr. & Mrs. Mahi*. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the movie has been generating significant buzz online with its promotional content.

On Monday, after casting their votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Rajkummar and Janhvi headed to Varanasi for movie promotions. During their visit, they took time to seek blessings at the Dashashwamedh Ghat by performing the Ganga Aarti. 

Photos and videos from their visit have surfaced online, showcasing the duo in a moment of spiritual reflection. In one image, Rajkummar is seen holding Janhvi close by the Ganga.

Speaking to the media, Janhvi shared her enthusiasm for the film, saying, "We are very excited to promote such a special film here. We have made this movie with complete honesty and would like to share it with you. It is my career’s most important film."

For their visit, Janhvi looked stunning in a pastel blue and silver saree, her hair styled in a bun adorned with white gajra. Rajkummar opted for a comfortable yet stylish look in a linen shirt and beige pants.

In addition to their visit, the filmmakers released the second track from Mr. & Mrs. Mahi on Monday. The soothing and soul-stirring song, titled "Agar Ho Tum," has been well-received online. The song features charming chemistry between Rajkummar's character Mahendra and Janhvi's character Mahima.

Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, directed by Sharan Sharma and co-written by Sharma and Nikhil Mehrotra, is presented by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Zee Studios. Janhvi and Rajkummar have been dedicated to the promotional campaign, building excitement for the film's release on May 31, 2024.
