Rajan Shahi finally opens up on firing Alisha Parveen; reveals the reason for removing Pratiksha and Shehzada

Producer Rajan Shahi has been making news lately for swiftly axing actors from the show. The saga began with the sudden dismissal of Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The replacements, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani, were brought in overnight to take over their roles.

After a while, the producer of the show once again grabbed attention by removing Alisha Parveen from the popular series Anupamaa. The producer has now disclosed the rationale behind dismissing Pratiksha and Shehzada, shedding light on Alisha's exit as well.

In a recent podcast on The Ashoke Pandit Show's YouTube channel, Rajan Shahi spoke up about removing actors from his produced shows. He emphasized, "Nobody is above the show." Shahi explained that broadcasters invest in the show and mentioned that if he notices any form of indiscipline on set, he will not hesitate to request the actors to depart.

When it comes to Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami's removal, the producer spilled the beans and said, "I have removed two lead actors of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Three months of investment. The actress was groomed. But it is too much out in the media, so I don't want to talk about it more."

Sharing the details, Rajan mentioned that the main reason for axing the lead actors from the show was their disrespectful conduct towards the hairdresser, spot boy, makeup artist, and associate director. He clarified that their behavior led to their exit from the show.

When discussing Alisha Parveen's abrupt departure from Anupamaa, Rajan Shahi provided an explanation, "Recently, I asked another actor to leave from Anupamaa. I don't want to talk about it more because I want to preserve the actor's respect and dignity." He admitted that the broadcasters have given him the freedom to make such decisions.

On March 18, 2024, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer terminated Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's contracts due to their unprofessional behavior.

In October 2024, actress Alisha Parveen joined Anupamaa to portray Rahi, also known as Aadhya, after a 15-year leap in the show. However, just two months later, on December 20, news of Alisha's sudden removal from the show surfaced online. The actress herself disclosed that she was ousted without any prior notice.
