Raghava Lawrence seeks Rajinikanth's blessings as 'Chandramukhi 2' nears release

In a recent development that has sparked excitement among movie enthusiasts, the trailer for the highly anticipated film, "Chandramukhi 2," featuring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence, was unveiled. However, the buzz around the film doesn't stop there. 

Raghava Lawrence, who is stepping into the iconic shoes of Rajinikanth by reprising the role of Vettaiyan Raja, recently shared a heartwarming glimpse into his meeting with his revered mentor, Rajinikanth.

As "Chandramukhi 2" gears up for its grand release on September 28, Raghava Lawrence paid a visit to Rajinikanth's residence on a significant Tuesday. During the visit, a deeply respectful Raghava Lawrence touched Rajinikanth's feet, and the two embraced warmly. 

The heartwarming meeting between the two legends was documented in a touching video compilation shared by Raghava Lawrence on his social media platforms. 

On his Twitter handle, he expressed his joy and gratitude, saying, “Hi friends and fans. Today I met my Thalaivar and guru @rajinikanth to wish him for Jailer’s blockbuster success and got blessings for Chandramukhi 2 release on September 28. I’m so happy. Thalaivar is always great. Guruve Saranam (Teacher is everything).”

Directed by P Vasu, "Chandramukhi 2" serves as a sequel to the 2005 Tamil horror-comedy blockbuster, "Chandramukhi," which featured Rajinikanth and Jyotika in pivotal roles. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran, and it is set to hit the screens in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The recently unveiled trailer of the film has already piqued the curiosity of cinephiles. In "Chandramukhi 2," Kangana Ranaut takes on the role of a talented dancer in the king's court, known for her enchanting beauty and mesmerizing dancing skills, while Raghava Lawrence steps into the regal persona of King Vettaiyan Raja.
