Rachi Sharma reacts to bagging Aami Daakini right when Kumkum Bhagya is under the scanner: 'Would never..'

Actress Rachi Sharma, who played a significant role in Kumkum Bhagya before exiting recently, opened up in an interview about her thoughts on the current situation. When asked if she felt her exit was well-timed, especially given the show’s possible wrap-up, Rachi gave a grounded and honest response.

“See, I mean, I do understand that if any show goes off-air, it’s not always about the actor,” she said. “I believe everything is important — the story, the team, the timing. So I don’t know about whether it was the right timing or not.”

She also reflected on her emotional connection to her past work. “When we got the news that Our Generation is getting wrapped up, we really felt bad. There was a lot of attachment to the character, and we definitely wanted to do more,” Rachi shared. “I think whatever happens, happens for the best. But I am not sure whether it was the right time or the wrong time.”

While she has moved on to a new show, her fondness for Kumkum Bhagya is still very evident. “It’s okay, but I just don’t want Kumkum Bhagya to go. I would never really hope for that. I would really want the TRPs to increase. So, yeah — that’s all I would say,” she added.
