The 75th Cannes Film Festival will have the world premiere of R Madhavan's new film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The actor, who has directed and produced the film has already arrived in France for the premiere. Madhavan posted two photos on his Instagram account.
He is on his way with his squad in the first photo, which is most likely from the airport. The still was captioned, "#Strange perspectives..Paris to nice..16/5/22 (two rocket emojis) #RocketryAtCannes". In the second photo, R Madhavan is seen posing with his team, "On our way to Cannes Film Festival #RocketryAtCannes".
Other than Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, five Indian films will also be screened at Cannes this year.
Tamannaah Bhatia, who will also be appearing at the gala, provided a peek at her life before the festival earlier today. While posing in a striped shirt and cargo trousers, the F3 actress can be seen having a beer.
Pooja Hegde, on the other hand, is ready to make her Cannes debut. At the airport, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's followers surprised her with a tiny gift. Her followers wished her luck with a poster when she arrived at the airport to fly to Cannes.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is R Madhavan's debut directorial project. The drama is adapted from the life of the former scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO, Nambi Narayanan. Gulshan Grover, Rajit Kapur, and Simran will play supporting roles in the flick. This much-anticipated movie is slated to release on July 1 and will be out in Hindi, Tamil, and English.
