"Lovey Sasan, Paras Babbar and Pratap Hadda are my besties on the set." - Sonam Lamba

The lass quipped, "I landed into this stream of industry by chance. May be it was destiny who brought me here. But I must say that reaching success has not been easy for me. I have learnt things step by step and it has been a good experience."

Having done shows like Desh Ki Beti Nandini on Sony TV and Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus, the actor spoke about her experience shooting for her current show.

Sonam stated, "I really enjoy shooting with Lovey Sasan, Paras Babbar and Pratap Hada. Since I share an excellent rapport with my co-stars from Diya Aur Baati Hum, I make sure I visit their set to spend some quality time with each other."

Elaborating on her role where she is currently positioned as a bahu to Meera (Tanya Sharma), Sonam mentioned of how she shares a good bond with Tanya and that she is glad that their chemistry plays out well on-screen too.

She averred, "I have never seen or heard of a sister suddenly becoming a mother-in-law but I am glad that unlike other saas-bahu dramas, I play a daughter-in-law to a hot mother-in-law! I have always been inspired by the real life incidents, or people I have seen around me or have heard of through my friends, so essaying Vidya is a challenge and as the character progresses, I am hopeful that my character will become more colourful."
