Talented Mihika Verma who is seen in Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein does running on the beach to stay fit and eats properly to maintain her shape. She shares her fitness mantra with TellyBuzz.
What does fitness mean to you? What's your idea of fitness?
Fitness for me was something else some years back but now as my schedule is tight so fitness according to me is 45 minutes of running on the Juhu beach.
What efforts do you take to stay in shape?
I try and eat in every two hours and I try to eat less carbohydrate food. I am blessed with good metabolism so I never had a weight issue.
Are you conscious about your food choices?
Not at all lot of my friends call me garbage, I can eat everything and anything I am bit selective in Non-veg food otherwise I can eat anything.
Do you take protein supplements?
No, I don't take any protein supplements.
Is there any sport you are skilled at?
There was a time when I used to play a lot of table tennis but otherwise not really.
A celeb body you admire?
In women its Katrina Kaif as she has got a slim fit body. Katrina is more fragile than Deepika Padukone and in guys its obviously Hrithik Roshan I don't even want to say about him.
What is your fitness secret?
My fitness secret is to eat happily. I enjoy eating after that I can work out.
A fitness tip for your fans?
Not everyone can afford a luxurious gym or an expensive trainer so I would suggest them to take a walk to stay fit.
