The good looking punjabi hunk Navi Bhangu talks about his journey so far in the industry.

Tell us how you bagged the role of Agham in Amrit Manthan?

In the past, I have done music albums, Punjabi movies, Punjabi serials and a Hindi movie. For the role of Agham I got a direct call from the Production House, after they watched one music video of mine titled 'Khanjar'. I met them and gave a look test. I am lucky that I didn't have to struggle after I moved to Mumbai.

How is your onscreen chemistry with Adaa Khan and Ankita Sharma?

Just like any other actor, I am more reserved I don't talk much. We do work with each other and that's all. There isn't much friendship with everyone. I just do my work and leave.

Tell us something about your nature?

I am a very simple person. I love eating Punjabi food and wear simple clothes. I am a moody person, when I am happy then I laugh, talk happily, like sitting with others and enjoy but when I am upset I prefer being alone. Apart from that I believe in giving respect and getting it in return and I don't like being fake or listen to fake people.

Are you a fitness freak?

Well currently I am on my way to the gym (laughs), I have long working schedules, so after work I go to the gym which is mostly in the night.

You have done some Punjabi movies, how has the experience been?

It has been a very good experience as my mother tongue is Punjabi. I worked in two Punjabi films and it was a different experience. It was great fun and I enjoy talking in my language.

One thing about you that others don't know?

I don't like people who overact and try to be someone else. When people in front of me do such things, I wont tell them that I don't like it, I tend to keep it inside myself.

How should your dream girl be?

My dream girl should be very simple just like me. She should not be from the field and she should look good with me. Since childhood I have always had this thought in my mind that she should respect my parents and family and also be loving and caring.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I read the bible, or talk to my co-actor Waseem Mushtaq or seniors and try getting some tips from them on performing better. I don't hang much out with girls:)

Message for your fans on India-Forums?

Keep loving me and praying for me to do better. My audience from Punjab have loved me since my days of doing work in there and now I have moved to television and want my television audience to love me as well. I have moved from ramp shows to music videos, to Punjabi movies to Hindi movie and now finally TV. Keep praying for me to do better and better. If they have any advice for me I am open for that.
