Pushpa 2 Vs Chhaava clash averted? Vicky Kaushal film's makers scouting for clean date for THIS reason

When it was announced that Pushpa 2 would be clashing with Chhaava, trade seemed a bit apprehensive. The Allu Arjun movie is supposed to be a box office behemoth expected to cross Rs 250 crores in its opening day at the global box office. The first teaser of Chhaava has got immense love from the audience. Vicky Kaushal looks absolutely amazing as Chhatrapathi Sambhaji Maharaj. They feel the movie has a huge potential at the box office. Now, a tabloid has reported that makers of Chhaava, Maddock have taken a decision to postpone the movie. Rashmika Mandanna is the actress of both Chhaava and Pushpa 2.

A source said that it is a high budget movie, and everyone felt a clash was not the best idea. Chhaava is also a big film for Vicky Kaushal in terms of budget and reach. He has played legendary real life figures like Sardar Udham Singh and Sam Manekshaw before, but this role is made for the masses. His last film Bad Newwz tanked at the box office. We do not know if they will move the film forward as November 2024 is not cluttered with big releases. But in all probability, it will come in the next year.

On Republic Day 2025, we will have Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force at the box office. It also stars Sara Ali Khan and Veer Pahariya. It is also by Maddock. Varun Dhawan’s Baby John is coming in Christmas 2024. Some feel it could have clashed with this film. Baby John’s teaser has got massive response. It also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. Sunny Deol’s movie Jaatt is also coming on Republic Day 2025.

Pushpa 2 is expected to take an opening of Rs 200 crores globally. It could be the highest for any Indian movie. Sukumar will be showing the journey of Pushparaj from a smuggler to a don. They have apparently shot two climaxes for the film. Fahadh Faasil is back as Banwar Singh. The film got pushed as Sukumar took his own time to decide the script. Pushpa 2 has already made Rs 1,000 crore from sale of pre-theatrical rights.
