Pushpa 2 Star cast salaries: Allu Arjun’s fee 30 times higher than Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil

As the excitement builds ahead of Pushpa 2: The Rule's highly anticipated release on December 5, discussions surrounding the film's star-studded cast have reached a fever pitch. One of the most talked-about topics is the reported staggering salary of lead actor Allu Arjun for his role in the Sukumar directorial.

According to a report by Forbes India, Allu Arjun has set a new benchmark in the Indian film industry by charging a jaw-dropping Rs 300 crore for Pushpa 2. This makes him the highest-paid actor in the country, surpassing industry giants like Thalapathy Vijay, Rajinikanth, Prabhas, Ajith Kumar, Kamal Haasan, as well as Bollywood megastars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar.

To put it into perspective, the report reveals that other leading actors like Vijay typically earn between Rs 130 crore to Rs 275 crore per film, while Rajinikanth's fees range from Rs 125 crore to Rs 270 crore. Prabhas reportedly charges Rs 100 crore to Rs 200 crore per film, and Ajith Kumar's remuneration for Thunivu was between Rs 105 crore to Rs 165 crore. Kamal Haasan's fee for Indian 2 reportedly falls between Rs 100 crore and Rs 150 crore.

In contrast, Allu Arjun’s co-stars in Pushpa 2—Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil—have earned significantly less. Reports suggest that Rashmika, who plays a crucial role in the sequel, was paid Rs 10 crore for her part, while Fahadh Faasil's remuneration stands at Rs 8 crore. This means that Allu Arjun's fee is approximately 30 times higher than that of his co-stars.

Additionally, Pushpa 2 features actress Sreeleela, who reportedly received Rs 2 crore for her special dance number alongside Allu Arjun. For reference, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who performed the popular song Oo Antava in the first Pushpa installment, was reportedly paid Rs 5 crore for her appearance.

With such a high-profile cast and record-breaking salaries, Pushpa 2 is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
