Punar Vivah hits a spectacular double century!

The team of Shashi Sumeet Mittal's Punar Vivah is in a celebratory mood, as the show has completed its journey of 200 episodes. The show which started off with a motive to spread a very unique message in the society i.e. to give a new life to widows or divorcees, by remarriage got a special place in the heart of the audiences and thus scores a double century. The entire team of the show celebrated this feat by keeping a small cake cutting ceremony on the sets. Tellybuzz spoke to some of the actors of the show to know about their feelings on this moment of joy.

Gurmeet Choudhary: It feels really good that our show has completed 200 episodes after starting off so well. It is a show which took up a social issue prevailing in our society in front of the audience and I am really enjoying working with this concept. It has been always my aim to work on varied and unique concepts and I am thankful to Zee TV and my production house Shashi Sumeet Productions for giving me an opportunity to work on the show. Punar Vivah is the 3^rd show of my career and I feel really lucky that this show is also doing well and appreciated by the audiences as the previous ones did.

Leena Jumani: I am feeling very happy that Punar Vivah has successfully completed 200 episodes and I wish it to complete many more successful episodes and cross the 500, 1000 and even 10,000 mark.

Dishank Arora: It feels amazing that our show has completed 200 episodes. It doesn't seem like we have reached so far; it feels like as if we just started off yesterday.
