Pulkit is on a roll; getting all the positive feedback from fans: Yash Pandit of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyar Meiin’

Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyar Meiin’ is gaining immense love from the fans. The current track of the show revolves around Pulkit taking a stand for Sai and reprimanding Chavan family including Virat for taking Sai for granted and mentally harassing her. While Sai feels that she has nowhere to go, Pulkit took her responsibility and asked her to stay at his place. He made sure to motivate her and made her believe that she isn’t alone in this world. Sai too feels safe with Pulkit and agrees to stay with his family.

India Forums got in touch with actor Yash Pandit who plays the character of Pulkit in the show. Talking about the current track and the feedback on the same, Yash added, “Well, the track had a lot of scope for performance for me and I really enjoyed doing it. One of the previous episodes entirely revolved around Pulkit which has garnered a lot of love. The viewers are loving how supportive Pulkit is for the protagonist Sai. It’s always nice to play positive roles. I remember, that scene was fifteen pages long. It was exhilarating to perform in the current track”.

We asked the handsome lad if the screen-space in a multi-starrer show affect him, he said, “I believe the times have changed considerably. In today’s world, actors playing supportive roles also get a lot of recognition. That’s the reason why people are loving actors like Pankaj Tripathi. More than the screen-space, the character should be substantial and has weightage. Screen-space is secondary when the character is strong and beautifully written. It’s always a win-win situation to work for one of the best channels and top rated shows”.

Talking about his bond with actress Ayesha Singh aka Sai, he said, “Oh! We’re great friends. Initially, when I joined the show, most of my scenes were with her. We used to eat our lunches together and chill. She’s a nice actress and a great human being”.

On being a part of the show, Yash said, “Well, I had done one show for Star Plus titled ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ and was keen on doing another show for the channel. However, at times things didn’t really materialize. But when ‘Ghum hai…’ came my way, I really liked the character brief and everything fell at place so I grabbed the opportunity”.
