Priyanka Chopra on biggest pet peeve being 'female characters are written as weak just because they're female'

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently hit headlines in the best way possible as she and husband Nick Jonas announced that the have welcomed their first child together through surrogacy.

And while Chopra Jonas has made a mark with her leading characters and female-driven roles as well, in a recent interaction, she revealed her biggest pet peeve female characters being written as ‘weak or emotionally marred’ as opposed to the male characters.
The actor shared that she has fought that in many, many jobs that have been doing overtime. She further added that she is ok fighting it but it remains her pet peeve when female characters are written as weak because they are female.
Elaborating further, the actor shared that she likes to find vulnerabilities in her characters. According to her, there is a strength to accept your vulnerabilities and be flawed.
