Priyanka Chopra highlights her inner 'Sati' as she begins the promotions of 'The Matrix Resurrections'

Bollywood actress and International icon Priyanka Chopra is all set for her most awaited film ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ as she has officially begun the film promotions.

She took to her Instagram handle on Tuesday and dropped a glimpse of her first look from the promotions of the film.

In the pictures, PeeCee is seen in a white and blue gingham-inspired bodycon dress. 

She is seen in a uniquely braided hairstyle tracing back to her character ‘Sati’ in the movie, which is giving out some major fashion goals. 

She finished off her look with bold and sharp makeup with some chunky jewellery. She captioned the post saying,

“Day one of @thematrixmovie press week complete  #matrixresurrections” 

While the desi girls character in the film, ‘Sati’ was originally featured as a child in ‘The Matrix Revolutions. However, Priyanka will be essaying the grown-up version of Sati in the movie.

Let us tell you in Matrix lore Sati had been put under the Oracle’s care in the third movie. The first trailer showed Priyanka’s character waiting for Neo at a café, where she was reading Alice in Wonderland. 

This was more than enough for fans to suggest that Sati might take on the role of a new Oracle in ‘The Matrix Resurrections’, considering that she appeared to be sending Neo on a fresh adventure in the trailer.

It was believed that the child would someday have a large impact on the future of both humans and machines.

On the work front the actress recently wrapped up 'Citadel'. She also has a Bollywood film in her kitty. Helmed by Farhan Akhtar, it’s titled ‘Jee Le Zara’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
