Priyanka Chopra demands 1.5 CRORE PER DAY!

The north-eastern parts of India need a lot of tourism to help it manage the financial crunch it has been going through off lately. To promote the state of Assam, the government has decided to have Priyanka Chopra on board as the ambassador of the 'Awesome Assam' campaign.

Well it wasn't the 1^st time that a state government has hired a celeb to increase tourism. Amitabh had promoted Gujarat as Aamir was on board for the 'Incredible India!' campaign.

Then what has miffed the locals of Assam?Apparently Priyanka has quoted a whooping amount of 1.5 crore per day for a 10 day shoot schedule for the campaign. This miffed the locals. The governor had said there is an enormous stress on the state exchequer and cannot satisfy its budgetary demands, and that it could hardly manage expenses like salaries and pensions.

While the other actors have never charged for increasing tourism in the country, Priyanka has made a rather big demand, especially from a state who is trying to make both ends meet, financially.
