Priyanka Chahar Choudhary holds a commitment to television over minor roles in a web show or film

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, renowned as the second runner-up from Bigg Boss 16, is a household name who rose to fame through her performance as Tejo in Udaariyaan. In an interview with one of the leading portals, Priyanka Choudhary shares her health updates, upcoming web show, and bond with Ankit Gupta.

Priyanka mentioned that she hadn't been well for nearly two months, and in December, she was informed about the necessity of undergoing surgery to remove cysts from her ovaries. She shared that although the procedure went smoothly, the recovery has been gradual, limiting her ability to exercise or engage in energetic activities. She expressed that it will take some time for things to return to normal.

Regarding her work, the actress affirmed that she has signed up for a web show alongside Tusshar Kapoor. When asked about her inclination towards OTT platforms, she asserted that she would not forsake television for a minor role in a web show or film. While expressing gratitude for what TV has provided her, she expressed the hope of securing substantial roles in other mediums. She acknowledged the challenges of transitioning from TV to films or web shows and mentioned ongoing auditions as part of her efforts.

On the personal front, Priyanka has been linked with Ankit Gupta, her co-actor from Udaariyaan, with whom she welcomed the New Year. Describing their relationship, she characterized Ankit as very sweet and explained that due to her health condition, they celebrated New Year at home with a few friends. 

When questioned about their dating status, she emphasized that they are approaching life casually, focusing on happiness in each other's company. Despite inquiries about their relationship status, she clarified that they haven't given serious thought to anything beyond friendship.
