Preeti Puri to enter Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai

“Sapna Babul Ka….Bidaai” will now be entering a new phase with some new faces introduced in the story with the marriage of the two lead characters of the serials Sadhna and Ragini.

Sadhna and Ragini the two sisters will now be getting married and the story will shift to a new household. With that, some new faces can be seen and one among them being Preeti Puri, who made a big mark with her role of Tanisha in Mamta. Here in Bidaai, she would be playing the role of “Agni” the elder Bahu of the same household where Sandhya and Ragini are going to be the next two Bahu’s in line.

After basking on the negative portrayal as Tanisha in Mamta, will we see Preeti in a similar role? “No, I am not out and out negative. It will be little grey. At times, I am on the positive side while on some occassions, on the negative side. But I would rather say it’s more on the positive side”, says Preeti. What made her decide to take such a role? “It looked to me a new challenging role. I am always offered only negative roles. In Naginn, I am in a positive role and very soon within a month, I’ll be again entering Nagin. I really want to do more positive roles and this one was quite nearer to that, so I decided to take it up. Then this being a prime time serial was also a reason” , reasons out the actress.

With her, the other name going round is of Tanushree Kaushal,(who plays Menka in Zee's Betiyaan) who too may be entering the serial though nothing has been finalized as yet.
