Pravisht on playing a mentally challenged character: Conventional television does not have such roles to offer

Banni Chow Home Delivery on Star Plus grabbed a lot of eyeballs after the latest promo of the show went on air just yesterday. The new promo also gives us a glimpse of Pravisht Mishra's role, someone who is mentally challenged and it sure looks like a rather interesting role. 

As the promos have been doing the rounds, India Forums got in touch with Pravisht to ask him about playing the part and the responses. He told us,

''The role I am doing right now is really interesting and challenging. Generally, conventional television does not have such roles to offer, so I feel lucky and grateful to get this opportunity and I hope I do well to justify the writer's efforts and entertain the audience. I see some sort of intrigue being built up. I have just said one line in the promo and I hope that intrigue materializes positively.''

Produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. Ulka Gupta has been roped in to play the lead role of a middle class girl named ‘Banni’, who makes ends meet by cooking and delivering food to people.

The promo that was out yesterday, saw how Pravisht's character gets made at the sheer sight of food and that it is rather difficult to get him to eat. However, the elderly urges Banni reminding her on how her job is not just to deliver the food but to also ensure that he eats it. However, when she heads to his room, he throws away all the food in anger.
