The sensational success of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire continues its triumphant journey at the box office, surpassing the remarkable milestone of Rs 500 crore globally. Director Prashanth Neel, known for his visionary storytelling, recently shed light on the inspiration behind the character of the angry young man in the movie, acknowledging the influence of the iconic Salim-Javed and Amitabh Bachchan era.

Confirming the inspiration, Prashanth Neel stated, "Yes, I drew inspiration from that era for sure, but I also usually tend to write in a way where my hero has to be my biggest villain. I always make that a rule and then start writing."

He further said, "So probably that is how it reflects. At the time being, both the movies, both the characters they have similarities that they turn out to be the biggest villains. They have to look like it at least."

This revelation provides insight into the creative process that shaped the intense and conflicted character portrayed in Salaar. The film marks the third collaboration between Prashanth Neel and the esteemed production house Hombale Films, following the unprecedented success of KGF: Chapter 1 and the highly anticipated KGF: Chapter 2.
