Praneeta Sahu, who was earlier seen in Balaji Telefilms' Kuch Is Tarah, Kasautii Zindagi Ki, Kasturi will now be seen in a new avtar as the close aid of the mighty Jhansi Ki Rani, in Zee TV and Contiloe's magnum opus show, which is tentatively titled 'Rani Lakshimi Bai'.

The actress plays Juhi, the elegant dancer and actress who was one of the close aids of Jhansi till the end.

According to our source, "Juhi is considered to be one of the back bones of Rani Lakshmi Bai. The Rani had five important ladies in her life, of which Juhi was one. She used to entertain the Englishmen with her dance and pass on details about them to the Queen. Juhi was also in silent love with Tantya Tope".

As we had reported earlier, Krratika Sengar will essay the central character of Jhansi Ki Rani.

If sources are to be believed, the shoot with the kid to play Lakshmi Bai has already commenced. And as reported earlier by Telly Buzz, Sameer Dharmadhikari has been finalized to play the ruler of Jhansi and husband of Lakshmi Bai, Gangadhar Rao.
