Post her EXIT from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, THIS actress bags a Colors show!

Actress Vidisha Srivastava, who played the role of 'Roshni' in Ekta Kapoor's 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' featuring Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in lead roles, is away from TV ever since her character came to an end in the long-running Star Plus show last year. But here comes great news for the fans of Vidisha Srivastava.

Reportedly, after a wait of several months the talented actress has finally bagged a new show post 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. According to an entertainment portal, Vidisha has bagged pivotal role Colors' upcoming mythological show titled 'Shrimad Bhagavad' to be produced by Nikhil Dwivedi.

Speaking about Vidisha's role in 'Srimad Bhagvad', a source told an entertainment portal that the actress has been roped in to play Sita's role and will be paired opposite actor Waseem Mushtaq who will play the character of Lord Rama.

However, the actress has not yet reacted on the same and official announcement is still awaited.

The upcoming show, which will depict the story of Mahabharata, will be a series of 52 episodes and will air every Sunday. The cast of 'Srimad Bhagvad' reportedly comprises of many known names like Rajneesh Duggal, Ishita Ganguly, Indraneil Sengupta, Ayaz Khan, Suchit Vikram Singh, Shailesh Gulabani among others.

Coming back to Vidisha Srivastava, the beautiful actress made her TV debut with 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' after working in various films in South industry. Her role of Roshni' in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' gave her a lot of fame and now it'll be interesting to see if she'll be able to create the same magic with 'Srimad Bhagvad' or not.
