Indra Kumar’s forthcoming venture ‘Dhamaal’ is surely one different film, in the sense that the film has no leading ladies. It may be counted as the most futuristic movie made till date keeping in mind the female foeticide rate around India. Jokes apart, the project seems to have already allured cine-lovers by enlisting the services of Sanjay Dutt, Reitesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chowdhury and Javed Jaffrey. Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Kumar and his producing partner of many years Ashok Thakeria(the duo have given hits like 'Dil', 'Beta', 'Raja','Mann', 'Masti' etc) , the laugh riot is scheduled to burst into theatres by 7th September.

Despite the absence of item numbers and no leading lady, Indra Kumar seems to be quite confident about the future of ‘Dhamaal’. “I didn’t feel the need for any heroines in the film. The script is so strong that when you will see the film, you will understand that there was no need of heroines between such funny male bonding!”

The hilarious story is about five hapless male figures in some life threatening situations leaving the audience to make wild guesses about the next scenes. “I think the audiences will be properly involved along with the characters who strive to get relieved from all kinds of chaos and misunderstandings. I maybe taking a risk, but I feel it might set a trend for other future films”, he adds.

Hope the dhamaal in no-women-land will take laudable space in the hearts of the ladies, too. Also probably provide an answer to the question as to how the situation would be if there’s no woman on the earth!
