Colors is all set to bring the second season of one of its cult shows Na Aana Is Des Laado, and there are high hopes riding on this one considering the terrific concept that the show is touted to portray. The second season titled as Laado 2 - Veerpur Ki Mardani will be going on air on the 6th of November.

In wake of her new venture, we got in touch with Avika Gor, and the actor spilled the beans about the show, its concept and her character.

When quizzed about how she is dealing the pressure of carrying the legacy of a cult show like Na Aana Is Des Laado, she said, "Actually, I am not feeling any pressure. In fact, I feel a lot of pride and there is great amount of happiness that comes along with the show. After Balika Vadhu, it was after a year and half that the first season of Laado came and it was a proud moment for Colors to have two shows that are based on social issues. With the second season coming in, there obviously is a lot of excitement and the efforts have also doubled."

Sharing her thoughts on the show being in a prime time slot and the monotone factor that comes with every daily soap, she said, "I am excited and looking forward to the viewers' response for the show. Because honestly, people will question isko roz roz kya dekhna hai, dus saal se toh dekh rahe hai, so it is likely that people will get bored. But, I will make sure that it does not happen and that people don't reach that point where they are struck with boredom thoughts. It is my responsibility to not let that happen and I will give my 100 percent to it."

Talking about her character and the added drama to the season 2 of the show, she said, "My character is of a law student, and it is someone who wants to be the one solving everything. My character, Anushka is exactly like Ammaji (Meghna Malik) and there is a lot of excitement with it because there are things that Ammaji hasn't told us about the past, and when she will tell us we don't know what will happen. Or, for that matter, when we will be stuck in situations because of her past, there is a lot of story that will play along with all of this."

Elaborating on the concept, she said, "Here, it is not just about the birth of a girl child, this season is more about girls being strong enough to stand for themselves. It is a different zone all together, because of what Ammaji had done in the past, the males of Veerpur feel way too strong about themselves which is why they think they can do whatever they want and is wrong."

Adding further, she said, "As an individual, I am highly inspired by the writing of this show because as an actor I am getting to do so much, that even I get a feeling and responsibility to make sure people are understanding it."

We wish Avika all the best for the character!
