People are watching Maharana Pratap religiously: Rajshri Thakur

Rajshri Thakur Vaidya who is playing the character of Maharani Jayawanta Bai in Sony TV's popular show Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap is gaining much appreciation with her character in the show after she rose to fame by playing Saloni's character in Zee TV's Saath Phere.

TellyBuzz spoke to Rajshri to know about her journey with the show Maharana Pratap so far and her bonding with her on-screen son Faisal.

Talking about her journey with the show, Rajshri told us, "It has been a great journey so far. People are liking the character and the show is doing well. People are watching it religiously and the show has got good reviews. So, I am liking being a part of the show."

Rajshri and Faisal share a great bond off-screen as well and she says, "I have most of the scenes to be enacted with him. The chemistry of a mother son relationship comes out while we perform for any scene together. People like our scenes. Faisal is a very hard working, enthusiastic and a very inquisitive guy. He always questions about the scenes and emotions. He calls me Rani Maa and I call him Pratap off-screen. We both are bonding quite well with each other. I like Faisal's enthusiasm, his inquisitive nature and his energy level which remains the same always even if we are shooting at 12 midnight."

When asked Rajshri about the compliments she is receiving for her character, she told us, "Once I met a person, who said Jayawanta Bai would have been just like you and once a lady told me that her kids tell her to be like Jayawanta Bai (laughs). These are the best compliments I have received so far."
