Pearl V Puri granted bail in rape case; lawyer confirms

The Pearl V Puri saga began with a massive shocker and has continued to unveil more shocking instances than one anticipated. As we know that Puri has been in custody for a while now and twice earlier, his bail plea was rejected as well.

But now there's some news of relief as it is confirmed that the actor has been granted bail. The actor's lawyer Jitesh Agawal told SpotboyE, "Yes, he has been granted bail by the Vasai Sessions Court."

On June 5 he was presented to the Vasai Court and his bail plea was rejected, after which he was sent into judicial custody. Puri was again brought to the court for the hearing on June 11 (Saturday), however, his bail was declined once again and today he was presented to the sessions court for the third time where he has finally managed to get the bail.

For the uninitiated, the actor was arrested after a 5-year-old victim's father filed a police complaint against him. As per the victim's father, the first FIR was done by him in 2019 as his daughter recognised Pearl with his character name Ragbir from his show Bepanah Pyaarr.
