Param Singh: It’s funny how I really feel like an elder brother to Rajat and Shagun

Sony Entertainment Television’s recent offering - Ishk Par Zor Nahi is a new-age love story revolving around two diametrically opposite individuals. While the show is predominately a love drama, it will also highlight aspects of deep-rooted family bonding. The show features actors - Param Singh as Ahaan Malhotra, Shagun Sharma as Sonu and Rajat Verma as Kartik as the ‘Malhotra Cousins’.

The three actors who play cousins also share a comfortable and easy-going rapport off camera as well, and that, in turn translates well on the screen. In a short span of time they took to their roles and have imbibed the characteristics quite smoothly. Apparently, in between shoots, Param, Shagun and Rajat have a lot of fun. The three of them together are like a house on fire - constantly playing pranks on each other or indulging in virtual games. 

Sharing more with us, actor Param Singh said, “It’s funny how I really feel like an elder brother to Rajat and Shagun. Both are such happy-go-lucky people; you can never have a dull moment around them! Honestly, shooting with Rajat and Shagun doesn’t feel like work! We have developed a wonderful camaraderie and I look forward to all the amazing memories we’ll create together on the sets of Ishk Par Zor Nahi.”

Set in urban Delhi, the show also highlights the life of three close-knit cousins who despite having polarising ideologies, share comfort, ease and a fiercely strong bond.
