When Zee TV introduced the Akshay Mhatre-Sheen Das starrer Piyaa Albela back in March 2017, no one at all expected the show to become the sensation it is.

Debutants and unconventional storyline did not announce success, but barring all those odds, Piyaa Albela did go on to become extremely popular amongst the viewers.

However, this sweet journey finally seems to be coming to an end now, as the show after being in the news for going off-air, is finally all set to call it a wrap.

Back in May, there were rumours about the show going off-air, but it continued all this while inspite of them.

But now, the ratings haven't been too encouraging for a while, and hence the show will be shutting shop in August 2018.
