Omar Vani paired opposite Aastha chaudhary in Mahima

Imagine TV's Mahima Shanidev Ki, since its revamp, is roping known actors to play leads in the story. Earlier we reported about Ketkie Jayashree and Gaurav Sharma starring in one of the episodes.

Informing on the same, a source states, "Omar Vani, last seen in Dharampatni as Kastur's (Aasiya Kazi) brother, would essay the role of a layman who falls in love with the character essayed by Aastha Chaudhary. Because of this, he is cursed by Mangal Dev ( Ambransh Bhandari )."

"The show follows a storyline where Mangal Dev forces everyone to pray to his idol, instead of Shanidev's. Only after Shanidev proves that he is superior to Mangal Dev, does he accept the truth," adds the source.

 Omar Vani remained unavailable for comment. Therefore, we contacted Ambransh Bhandari and he confirms, "Yes, the three of us have shot for the episode and it was a wonderful experience working for the story. Though it is not the first project on television, it is definitely my first mythology on the small screen."
