Nushrat Bharucha’s Loss led to Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat’s Reunion!

Salman Khan, under his banner Salman Khan Films is all set to produce his next titled Bulbul Marriage Hall. Earlier, the romantic comedy was supposed to feature Nushrat Bharucha as the leading lady, however, not anymore.

Nushrat walked out of the film, citing date issues, post which the film has been passed onto another actress. "Nushrat couldn't accommodate the dates and hence, despite liking the script, she had to give it up. The makers understood her situation because Jordy and Nushrat have always shared a very warm friendship for years now” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.

Soon, the makers roped in Kriti Kharbanda for the role as she fit the bill and reportedly, she has given her nod for the project as well. Interestingly, this will reunite love birds Kriti and Pulkit Samrat on the silver screen after Veerey Ki Wedding and Pagalpanti. 

"After Nushrat's dates didn't work out, they approached Kriti because she fits the bill and is a great performer, too. Kriti liked the script and immediately gave her go ahead. They begin shoot sometime soon” informed the source.

"The story has two boys who play brothers and Pulkit has been locked as one of them already” adds the source. Set in Delhi, the film Bulbul Marriage Hall is written by Raaj Shaandilya, and directed by Rohit Nayyar.

Meanwhile, speaking of Nushrat Bharucha’s professional front, her last outing with Ayuhsmann Khurrana, Dream Girl, was a box office hit and next, she has black comedy- Chhalaang co starring Rajkummar Rao and romantic drama- Hurdang in her pipeline. 

On the other hand, Kriti Kharbanda was last seen in Anees Bazmee’s comedy Pagalpanti.
