Not Ragini Khanna, but Shagun Sharma to play the lead in Sasural Genda Phool 2?

Star Plus' popular show Sasural Genda Phool is all set to come back with Season 2. Already there have been media reports that the makers of the show are bringing the show back with a second season. And Jay Soni will reprise the role of the hero in the new season.

India Forums has exclusively reported that two actresses who have given the mock shoot for the project are Divya Drishti fame Sana Sayyad and Ishq Par Zor Nahi actress Shagun Sharma. And according to the media reports, the production house is in advanced talks with Shagun Sharma and in all likelihood, she will be signed for the show.

However, when a leading portal contacted Shagun Sharma for the confirmation of the news, she confirmed that talks are still on with the production house and nothing is finalised yet. There is no official confirmation yet.

The first season was loved by the viewers and also gave immense popularity to Ragini Khanna and Jay Soni. They were loved as a couple. Also, the entire family of the show received adulation from the viewers.
