Nishant Malkani is now Nishant Singh

The audience know him as Anukalp from Zee TV's Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, but had to leave the show because of his back injury. Yes, you have guessed it right, he is none other than Nishant Malkani. 

The actor is now doing Bollywood films and recently his movie Bezubaan Ishq released. 

Well, he is not in the news for his acting career but for recently changing his surname. He is now Nishant Singh, and not Nishan Malkani. Nishant has done all his paper work and now officially he will be using Singh as his surname.

We spoke to Nishant who told us, "Yes I have changed my surname from Malkani to Singh, there is no specific reason for it. I just thought that Singh is a universal surname for most of the casts and creeds. So I changed my surname as well. All the legal and official formalities are done and I will be now using Singh as my surname."
