Nikita Dutta SPEAKS up on the PRESSURE of ratings with Sony TV's 'Haasil'

With a budget like this, the show is bound to have a lot riding on itself..

Sony TV is certainly in a purple patch currently, where the humongous ratings of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 and the launch of Super Dancer Chapter 2 has put the channel on top spot.

With Haasil being one of the shows to replace Kaun Banega Crorepati 9, we asked Nikita if the original history of Sony TV and low ratings of it's daily soaps will be a concern for Haasil too, as it rides on a big budget.

To this, Nikita answered, "If you notice one thing about Sony TV then that is how they have always been above numbers. Another thing is how they love to experiment and when they do, they go all-out. I can safely say that other big channels like Colors and Star Plus have their typecast shows going on. Sony doesn't have that and the fact that their shows are short-lived is what I love about them. I am sure other people would think differently, but I don't believe that. So, numbers are important but at the same a show being short and crisp is far more important too."
