Nicole set free within JUST 82 minutes

It was a sentence of four days in jail for pregnant Nicole Richie but she had to spend just 82 minutes in the cell. The actress/socialite/singer/author had come ready to stay for four days there but due to the overcrowding in the jail and the minor nature of the crime, she got an early release.

The adapted daughter of Lionel Richie has been better known for her role in the reality show ‘A Simple Life’ and best for her tumultuous personal life. She was arrested on December 11, 2006 for DUI in California reported by some other motorists passing the same route. Accused of having marijuana and vicodin while driving she was sentenced for four days on July 27, 2007.

It was not new for Richie facing legal problems as she was arrested earlier in February, 2003 for keeping heroin with her and driving with a suspended license. By now it seems Nicole might have tasted the prison well enough to make a change in her life-style.Importantly this should encourage her to continue with her decision to mellow down post pregnancy!
