Nia Sharma on completing a decade: I have lived my small dreams, Television has made it possible

Nia Sharma made her acting debut with Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha and eventually, she rose to fame with her role in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Through her journey of what is now a decade, she has done some of the finest shows, web-series, and a lot more. Her latest stint was as a contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi Made In India and she did go on to win it after all. 

For a journey that has been as long as a decade, there is sure a lot that she has achieved, but she credits a lot of it to all her fans for being her constant cheerleaders. Ask her about the same and she says, ''From an ugly duckling to a grown woman, I have lived my small dreams of living an independent life in Mumbai, earning a living for myself, standing on my own feet, I earned it all with dignity. Television has made it all possible for me. I am quite content with my journey till here and what I take immense pride in is the love I have received from the fans over the years who celebrate your every little achievement like a festival.''

She went on to add further, ''22 cakes on every birthday is a ritual and countless throughout the year, trending my birthdays when I wasn’t even on twitter, I cannot begin to tell you how pampered I have been. I thank each and every fan right from the beginning to have made my existence felt. I owe them huge. I didn’t even know I had completed 10 years until they sent a surprise again, telling me I am OLD now. (smiles)''
