New rupee symbol in KBC logo, courtesy Big B

New Delhi, July 27 (IANS) Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has given a peek into the new logo of the upcoming fourth season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', which he is set to host. The logo also flaunts the new rupee symbol.

'Insisted Sony to incorporate the new rupee symbol in the KBC logo. They did. Looking so cool,' Amitabh posted on his Twitter page.

The 67-year-old also uploaded a picture of the logo on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.

The centre of the round logo has six of the new Indian rupee symbols strategically placed to make it appear as a wheel.

The new symbol for the Indian rupee is an amalgam of the Devnagiri 'Ra' and the Roman capital 'R' without the stem.
