New love story for Riddhima?

The ratings of Star One's Dill Mill Gaye, produced by Cinevistaas saw a jump from 0.3TVR to 0.6 TVR, with the comeback of Riddhima (Jennifer Winget).

Now that Jennifer has got back, the loyal viewers of the show are expecting the return of Karan Singh Grover aka Armaan, as the cult love story that developed in the Sanjeevani Hospital is incomplete without him.

However, looking at the recent episodes, it is very obvious that the creative team has something else in store for the viewers.

According to our source, "The channel is thrilled at the rise in the TRP's and is looking forward to developing a chemistry between Sid (Karan Wahi) and Riddhima. Both the channel and the production house are not keen on bringing back Karan Singh Grover. However, the channel is pretty much convinced that they can weave a fresh love story between Sid and Riddhima".

The recent episodes have already shown Sid and Riddhima getting involved in a fight, and the very fact that they cannot stand each other does ring a bell indicating to the love story to come, as far as this jodi is concerned.

As per our source, "The channel will not be starting off with the love story immediately. They will give it a bit of time, and will keep showing clashes and a war of words between Riddhima and Sid. They will also keep a tab on the viewer responses, and will proceed with the love story if all falls in place".

If the buzz is to be believed, they will soon be showing a flash back scene wherein it will be shown that Dr. Shashank (Mohnish Behl) was the one who had asked Armaan to get away from his daughter's life forever, as his presence in her life was only adding to her problems.

We tried calling Karan Wahi as well as Jennifer to find out more on their track, but they remained unavailable.

Well, in all this, we only wonder how Riddhima can even forget Armaan and choose to move on….
