Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is at its peak. The fans' most awaited Kaira; moment was finally telecast where Karthik (Mohsin Khan) proposed Naira (Shivangi Joshi). Even though Kaira's' future is a little shaky, fans enjoyed the proposal episode very much.

We had yesterday reported about how Karthik, in an attempt to make Naira accept her feelings for him will quit his job with the Singhanias. A worried Naira would go to stop him but will not be able to confess her feelings, angering Karthik further.

And now to make matters more complicated, entering the scene will be Karthik's parents, who will be played by Parul Chauhan and Sandeep Rajora. Parul will be seen playing stepmother to Karthik and Sandeep his father, an online entertainment portal reported.
