Never thought Vaishali would take the drastic step of committing suicide: ‘Super Sisters’ co-star Muskan Bamne

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame Vaishali Takkar committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan. As per the suicide note, the reason of taking her life was based on her turbulent personal life. Vaishali was set to get married soon to her fiancé Abhinandan Singh. It was an arranged marriage set-up but Vaishali looked happy in all her engagement pictures.

Vaishali played the lead role in Sony SAB show ‘Super Sisters’. India Forums got in touch with Muskan Bamne who played the parallel lead in the show alongside Takkar. Muskan is currently garnering love for her performance as Pakhi in Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’.

On learning about the devastating news, Muskan said, “I don’t know what to say. I’m totally blank. Never thought in my wildest dream that a person like Vaishali would commit suicide. Obviously, we don’t know what she was going through and the problems that she was facing. It’s extremely said and upsetting. I’ll miss her”.

We played sisters onscreen for ‘Super Sisters’ and the bond transformed off-screen as well. She was like my sister. We used to dance, enjoy and have a lot of fun on the sets. There was a very special bond with her and have a lot of memories to cherish.

To conclude, Muskan added, “I’d like to give out a message to others. Suicide should not be an option. One should always be vocal to the family members and also think about their parents before taking such a drastic step. I pray for strength to Vaishali’s family”.
