Netflix drops the Trailer of The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance and it’s weirdly brilliant!

Prequel of 1982 Jim Henson film The Dark Crsytal, Netflix is ready to mesmerize audience with The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance. The ten episode Netflix original series will explore the world of Thra and traces the journey of three Gelflings- Rian, Brea and Deet, who inspire a rebellion against the Skeksis when they discover a terrifying secret behind their powers that threatens the world of Thra.

In 1982, Jim Henson and Frank Oz redefined fantasy filmmaking with The Dark Crystal, an ambitious, puppet-driven movie that tells a wondrous story about an ancient world on the brink of destruction or salvation. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance builds on everything that made the film great, and it has the potential to become a classic in its own right.The 1982 film was a major technical achievement, showcasing the advanced animatronic technology Henson had been developing in his Creature Shop, but critical reviews were mixed.
