While their film Lafangey Parindey didn't impress the audience

as much as they expected, it seems that off-screen, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone still share a special bond.

Recently, Neil made a statement that he'd be the first person to show up at Deepika's doorstep if she was single. When Deepika was asked to make a comment back on Neil's statement, the actress quickly quips that she didn't know what was stopping him.

It seems like Neil took this statement of hers an opportunity and gallantly showed up on her doorstep one morning with a red rose. He tweets: "I stood outside deepikas door yesterday with a red rose for three hours. Then I realized that she had gone for the promotions of 'Aarakshan." ((c) Twitter).

In reply to Neil's tweet, all Deepika had to tweet back was: "jhooth!" ((c)Twitter).

Is there something brewing bewteen the two actors? Or do we have some harmless flirting? Let us know what you think!
