Neha Vaishnav to join Shahid Kapoor’s digital debut project Raj and DK

India Forums is back with an exclusive update from the world of entertainment. Bollywood’s popular actor Shahid Kapoor is set to venture into the digital medium with the makers of ‘The Family Man’. The project is tentatively titled ‘Fake’ and will release on one of the leading OTT platforms.

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are popular producers and directors from the industry. The duo has popular projects like Stree, Shor in the City, Go Goa Gone, Happy Ending among others. There project ‘The Family Man’ on the digital front received rave reviews and got immense love from the viewers. India Forums exclusively reported that actress Kriti Sanon is in talks to play female lead in the show while veteran actor Amol Palekar has also joined the cast of the show.

Well, now we’ve learned about yet another actress who’s roped in for the project. Actress Neha Vaishnav will be seen in an interesting avatar in the web-series. Neha has done a music video opposite actor Kushal Tandon. We couldn’t connect with her for a comment.

Sources have revealed that ‘Fake’ will revolve around a scam involving printing of fake currencies. Well, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK were planning to make a similar movie titled ‘Farzi’ in the year 2014 along with Shahid and Kriti but things didn’t materialize because of Shahid’s wedding plans in 2015. The makers further approached Arjun Kapoor for the project, however, the movie got shelved. Now, it looks like that the makers have worked on the movie script to fit into the OTT genre.
