Neetu Kapoor shakes a leg with yesteryear actress Padmini Kolhapure on 'Naatu Naatu' - Watch

Actors Padmini Kolhapure and Neetu Kapoor recently treated their fans to a dance performance on SS Rajamouli's 'Naatu Naatu' song, which won the Best Original Song at the Oscars. Padmini shared a video on Instagram in which the two ladies can be seen doing the hook step of the song, while others present in the room cheer them on. Neetu, in particular, impressed fans with her energetic moves, wearing purple pants with a white top and a blazer. Meanwhile, Padmini donned a blue blouse with black pants.

In the caption, Padmini wrote that she was "tripping" on the song with her favorite Neetu Kapoor, and that they will get there soon, step by step. Neetu also shared the same video on her Instagram Stories, calling it an attempt at the 'Naatu Naatu' with an old friend. Her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni commented with clapping hands emoji, showing her appreciation for the video.

Fans were equally impressed by the duo's dance performance, with one writing that it was good to see both of them together and called them ageless women. Another fan commented on Neetu's energy during the performance, while one more remarked that the dance was like a sweet sixteen celebration.

The 'Naatu Naatu' song, which was written by Chandrabose and composed by MM Keeravani, was recorded by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava for the movie RRR. The movie, set in the 1920s pre-independent era, is based on the lives of two real-life heroes and well-known revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. It starred Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles and was a massive hit at the box office.

Neetu Kapoor was last seen in the movie Jugjugg Jeeyo, alongside Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor. She also made her TV debut last year with Dance Deewane Junior 1, where she appeared as one of the judges of the dance reality show. She has the movie 'Letters To Mr Khanna' in the pipeline, with Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath.
