Bollywood actor Naawzuddin Siddiqui has come a long way in the industry on his own. Not only has he proven his talent as an actor in B-town, but he has also advanced to the point where main roles are being created with him in mind. He is currently eagerly anticipating an American film (Laxman Lopez, directed by Roberto Girault), in which he plays the lead character.

Well according to a report from ETimes, the Kick actor claims that he had promised not to participate in a foreign film unless he was given a major role.

Talking to Etimes the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor reveals why he won't agree to do any small roles in future. "In my career in this field, I have acted in many films where I played minor roles. And I am done with that. Even if you offer me 25 crore for a small role I still wouldn't  do that. Money and fame, in my opinion, are merely by-products of your effort. Simply perform your responsibilities effectively, and money and fame will follow. Just keep doing wonderful job; if you chase them, you'll never find them. Sometimes we spend our entire lives chasing money and fame and never succeed. I believe that khudi ko itna enhance kar lo, khud ko aisa bana lo ki money aur fame aapke ghulam ban jaaye aur aap ke peeche bhaage.”

He further also talked about his plan of going behind the camera as that has now become a trend, to which the actor denied saying, “I only know how to act. Bas yeh ek hi cheez mere se ho jaaye toh kaafi hai,” he shares.

Not only this, when asked about his most difficult role to date, Siddiqui, who has portrayed several difficult characters over the past ten years, replies, "It depends on you truly — what are the kinds of roles you are picking and what direction are you taking that — kis mukam pe pahuchatein hain aap usse. An actor has the power to make the character in every role particularly unique. A different actor may perform the same role poorly. So, in my opinion, the actor makes all the difference. I work hard every day to make sure that each and every character I play is unique."
