Nawazuddin Siddiqui was recently seen in the ZEE5 film 'Haddi' which also starred Anurag kashyap, Ila Arun and Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. 

'Haddi' is a crime drama movie helmed by Akshat Ajay Sharma and jointly produced by Zee Studios and Anandita Studios. Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes on dual roles in the film, with one of his characters being a transgender individual. Recently India Forums got in touch with Nawazuddin Siddiqui to know his views on the positive reception of the film.

When asked, 'Haddi' has received positive reviews and the audience has praised your performance. Did you anticipate this kind of response? What has been the biggest compliment you received?

To this Nawaz said, 

"Absolutely, I had anticipated this. We were confident that the film would get a good response, especially from the audience who are common people and women. It has been truly incredible."

Further when questioned, 'Haddi' has garnered a thumping response from the audience, critics and fans clocking 150+MN viewing minutes. What do you think worked for the audiences?

Nawaz quoted, 

"The entire team is elated with the response. Audiences have appreciated the characters and the film as a whole. We had the privilege of working with some exceptional actors, including Zeeshan, Ila ji, Anurag Kashyap, and Saurabh Sachdeva, all of whom delivered outstanding performances. I'm delighted to collaborate with such a talented ensemble, and I believe that the chemistry and dedication of the entire team contributed to the film's success."

Apart from this Nawazuddin Siddiqui has some exciting projects in the pipeline like 'Adbhut', 'Bole Chudiyan' and 'Noorani Chehra'.
