Telugu cinema enthusiasts are in for a treat as Nani's latest film, "Hi Nanna," directed by debutant Shouryuv, gears up for a swift digital release on Netflix. Despite facing a considerable clash upon its theatrical release, the movie managed to win over audiences, especially in the U.S., grossing an impressive $1.8 million. Now, Netflix has announced that "Hi Nanna" will be available for streaming in multiple languages starting January 4, just shy of one month after its cinematic debut. The decision to swiftly transition from theaters to OTT platforms has become a trend, especially with established stars like Nani. 

Directed by Shouryuv, "Hi Nanna" hit theaters on December 7, receiving positive reviews for its compelling storyline. Netflix India's announcement on Twitter read, "Love is in the air, and so is our excitement. Join @NameisNani and #MrunalThakur in their journey of finding love in 'Hi Nanna,' streaming from 4th January in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on Netflix. #HiNannaOnNetflix."

The plot of "Hi Nanna" revolves around the lives of a fashion photographer, Viraj, and his daughter Mahi. Their world is disrupted when Yashna enters, forcing Viraj to confront his past. As Mahi and Yashna uncover the truth about Mahi's mother, a love triangle unfolds, with Yashna finding herself drawn to Viraj despite being engaged. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Nassar, Jayaram, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Angad Bedi, and Viraj Ashwin.

Funded by Mohan Cherukuri, Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy KS under the Vyra Entertainments banner, "Hi Nanna" offers a captivating musical experience with Hesham Abdul Wahab handling the music and background score. Sanu Varghese served as the cinematographer, and Praveen Anthony took on the role of the film's editor. Nagendra Kasi contributed the dialogue, while Shouryuv wore the hat of both the writer and director.

As the film transitions to Netflix, fans can anticipate a wider reach and accessibility across various languages, providing a seamless streaming experience.
