COLORS' Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, produced by DJ's Creative Unit is finally ending on 3rd September.
According to lead actor Karan Wahi, the channel has given the marching orders. "We have a few days of shoot left." He did not have much info about how this 9.30 pm show about a family where a girl is born after a long time will end. "But one thing is certain, we will give it a logical conclusion."
Readers will remember that Telly Buzz had carried a story a few days back where we had mentioned that changes in story line might be the reason why this show did not work. It was originally slated to be aired as Ramlal on 9X, when financial difficulties plagued that channel.
The Remix star Karan basically blamed the ending on low TRP. "Some shows work while others don't. We have to accept this fact and move on. I have enjoyed my stint with this show".
The exit of Nanhi Pari leaves the 9.30 pm slot vacant. A source informs us that it might be replaced by Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 which is tipped to premiere on 7th September at 9.30 pm slot. This Endemol produced show has 13 beauties who will confront their worst fears. Super star Akshay Kumar hosted this reality show which was recently held in South Africa.
Producer Tony Singh of DJ's Creative Unit confirmed that his show will end on 3rd September. However we could not get the channel to comment on both Nanhi Pari ending, and it being replaced by Fear Factor.
Endemol also did not reply to our SMS on the same question of Fear Factor airing on the 7th of next month.
