Nana Patekar's look-alike in Dill Mill Gayye

Mahesh Jadhav, the popular Marathi actor has entered Star One's youth oriented serial, Dill Mill Gayye as the new patient at Sanjeevani Hospital. The actor is a look-alike of the famous Bollywood star Nana Patekar; and his mannerisms, the way he talks and walks, resemble the Big Nana to the core so much, that the entire unit of Dill Mill Gayye ran upto him, demanding for autographs mistaking Mahesh for the real star.

Mahesh is introduced in Dill Mill Gayye to give a new dimension of humour to the story and cast his magic spell on the interns. Even though he gets admitted in the hospital with severe throat infection, he yells his heart out, exactly in Nana Patekar Ishtyle to get things done at his own will. He directs a unique play for a cultural event in the show called 'Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya' which is an amalgamation of three great love stories – Romeo-Juliet, Heer-Ranjha and Soni-Mahiwal…and our five interns, along with Dr. Shubhankar are playing these roles…
